SAINT - SIFFRET

Located 5 km south-east UZES, the ancient Provençal village of SAINT – SIFFRET
stands on a hill of rocks in a green and brown landscape.

Two renovated castles leave their mark in the history of the village:
- the first one with a Renaissance façade is fortified,
- the second castle dating from the Middle Ages is named “ La Commanderie “
and was built by the powerful order of Knights Templars.



The Church

Its Norman – Byzantine church dating from XVIIth century has a typical Provençal decoration.
